Restaurant DON JULIUS
The restaurant with two extra rooms is located on the ground floor of the rear part of building No. 10 Náměstí Svorností with the main entrance on Kájovská Street.
The rooms in the house, which originally dates back to the 15th century, were reconstructed in 1994 and our restaurant opened the following year.
It was named after the infamous figure of Český Krumlov history, Don Julius d’Austria. Over the course of its existence, the restaurant also underwent several renovations.
So two extra rooms were added: one with the relief of the buildings of the Český Krumlov main square on the walls, another in a beautiful old vault. There is also an inner courtyard with an open fireplace and an outdoor terrace on Kájovská Street.
We are particularly proud of our numerous regular guests from all over the world.

The interior design is very varied, full of ideas, humor and every room is decorated differently.
Every guest will find their place here, whether for a romantic dinner for two, a family celebration or a meeting with friends.
In the warm season, our guests enjoy the view of the hustle and bustle on the picturesque Kájovská Street from our terrace.
With a capacity of up to 100 people, Don Julius is also an ideal lunch or dinner spot for groups.

Our menu offers a wide selection of dishes. Try traditional Czech cuisine as well as seasonal specialties or international dishes.
We use organic beef and organic fish from regional certified farms – the quality of the products is our top priority.

The Don Julius restaurant is operated by Zlatý anděl s.r.o., which also includes the Hotel Zlatý Anděl.
With its ideal location right on the square of the historic center, the Hotel Zlatý Anděl combines several listed buildings into a very special hotel.
The main building with 40 rooms and a total of 100 beds as well as a building a few steps away on the main square offer perfect accommodation that meets every wish and requirement.
Our friendly staff always strives to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.
